Samsung Electronics South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Samsung”) is and attempts to be sensitive to your privacy on the Internet. Whenever possible, Samsung will attempt to treat the information about you we receive on the Internet with care deemed reasonable under the circumstances and ensure that the information you submit is used/disclosed only for the purposes and in the means it is intended for. What personal information about you do we collect and how do we use your information?:
Samsung uses information provided by you (if any) to measure the use of its site, to improve the contents of its site as well as to provide maintenance services and to maintain a sufficient level of security on the site.
The personal information we may collect is used only by us to respond to your inquiry, process an order or allow you to access specific account information as well as to send communications directly to you via sms and email pertaining to the Smart Life programme. In addition, your personal information will be used for marketing / research/statistical purposes as well as for assessment and analysis of our market, customers, products, and services (including asking you for your opinions on our products and services and carrying out customer surveys) and subject to your consent where required by applicable law, to inform you about new products and services.

At times cookies may be used to provide you with certain information. A cookie is a tiny element of data that a web site can send to your browser, which may then be stored on your hard drive so we can recognise you when you return. If you request deletion of personal information, you acknowledge that you may not be able to access or use the site. You understand that, despite your request for deletion, Samsung reserves the right to keep your personal information, or a relevant part of it, if Samsung has suspended, limited, or terminated your access to the website for violating the Samsung Terms of Use, when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Samsung, or any of our respective affiliates, business partners, employees or customers.
